Arran is located on the second floor between Ailsa and Bute, and is above the Drawing Room and gets its name after the Island of Arran.
For many years this room was stacked from floor to roof with old furniture and could not be accessed but since the mid 1990s its all been cleared and can now be accessed although in part its still used for storage.
